Sept 4 - NYC - Sir Bob Geldof came to my Westbeth Studio to ask me to be in a documentary about the Boomtown Rats. It's finished now and tells a great story about a great band.

Sept 30 - NYC - Debbie Harry celebrated the release of her autobiography, Face It, at Town Hall talking with Chris Stein and Rob Roth.
Oct 3 - NYC City Winery owner Michael Dorf gave me and my wife Elizabeth a preview of the new spot he was building on Pier 57 at W 15th St in Chelsea.

Oct 10 - NYC - Congressman Jerrold Nadler talks at a WhyHunger benefit at City Vineyard. Jerry does great work not only for our New York community but is always working hard to preserve democratic freedoms in the whole country.
Nov 6 - NYC - When he's not acting in TV series or DJing on Sirius Radio Little Steven tours with his band the Disciples of Soul, seen here with his wife Maureen on stage at the Beacon Theatre.
Nov 7 - NYC - Henry Jones shows the 3D photo he made of Jim Jarmusch during his exhibit at Studio 151. Henry's been making 3D art for years and keeps getting better.

Feb 24 - NYC - (L-R) Iggy Pop, Jimmy Webb, Iggy's wife Nina Alu, Debbie Harry, Susan Holmes and her husband Duff McKagen of Guns ’N Roses, at Jimmy's store “I Need More”, where Iggy and Debbie pressed their hands and feet into concrete squares on the floor of the store for Jimmy. Very sadly Jimmy passed away in April from cancer but this was a great last party. RIP Jimmy...

Feb 29 - NYC - Nona Hendryx and the Sun Ra Arkestra in tribute to Sun Ra on stage in the Temple of Dendur room at the Met Museum.
March 6 - NYC - (L-R) Jane Birken, Iggy Pop, Philippe Lerichomme and Nobuyuki Nakajima performed the songs of Serge Gainsborough with a full orchestra at the Beacon Theatre.
March 10 - Sao Paulo - Photographer's agent Sebastian Alderete organized the “John Lennon EnmNova York Por Bob Gruen” exhibit at the Museum of Image and Sound in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
March 12 - Sao Paulo - Supla played punk versions of John Lennon songs at the opening of “John Lennon Em Nova York Por Bob Gruen” at the Museum of Image and Sound in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
March 13 - Sao Paulo -Five of my photos were 3D printed so blind people could feel them like Braille at the “John Lennon Em Nova York Por Bob Gruen” exhibit at the Museum of Image and Sound in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
March 14 - Sao Paulo - Radio DJ Luiz Thunderbird interviewed me and we were joined by the very popular Senator Eduardo Suplicy at the Museum of Image and Sound in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The DJ was in Portuguese but I'm in English (they had simultaneous translation) and at the end of the video you can see the Senator leading us in song 🙂
